Mueller College Core Value #1: Be a curious, life-long learner
Culture. What is it? What can we learn from it? Is it important? What can it do for us and the world around us?
According to Dictionary.com, Culture is defined as: "the total of the inherited ideas, beliefs, values, and knowledge, which contitutes the shared bases of social action." There are different types of cultures around the world and within societies. Every country, social group, business, you name it has their own culture which brings them together on a whole new level and gives their life a whole new sense of purpose and meaning.
Mueller College has a unique culture. The culture is based on Mueller's mission of integrating the mind, body and spirit while working towards a more humane world. In order for us to succeed as a post-secondary educator, we need to create, maintain and grow a culture where our staff, faculty and students want to play a part in building something great.
Our culture is based on ten core values (thanks for the inspiration, Zappos!), which we will be introducing over the next month. Each one has been meticulously thought out and embodies what Mueller truly is all about.

There's always something new to learn. You are never done! Whether you are a marketing professional, painter, barista, alcohol and drug counselor, massage therapist, CEO, financial aid advisor, personal fitness trainer and so on and so on- engage and be curious about everything, knowledge is power!
We encourage everyone to share photos and examples of what THEY do to be a curious, life-long learner (Especially those in the education industry- that's what we teach to our students every day, for crying out loud!) Send everything you got to marketing@mueller.edu!
